An unforgettable orientation event was organized for the first-year students of Forestry Engineering and Forest Industry Engineering, who are stepping into university life with the excitement of a new academic year. The professionals of the future made their first stop for professional development at the Research Center Directorate.
Welcomed by Research Center officials, the students were first briefed on the center's general operations and its contributions to forestry science. Afterward, they moved to the most crucial part of the education: the greenhouse and nursery areas.
Accompanied by experts, the students toured these facilities, gaining the opportunity to see the practical application of the subjects they will study in their theoretical lessons. Detailed information was provided on topics such as the types of species cultivated in the greenhouses and nurseries, the stages of the sapling production process, and genetic material studies. Furthermore, students were informed about current scientific research and innovative techniques being applied in these fields.
